On the 31st March 2021 Frontier released an image of the upcoming Tekada Laser SMG weapon via Twitter. You can read all the details of Odyssey here.

On the 30th March at 9:15pm Frontier made the following changes to the Alpha of Odyssey via a small hotfix.
The following changes will be implemented at 20:30 UTC (21:30 BST) after a short downtime of about 10 minutes:
On the 29th March 2021 Frontier released a small hotfix for the Alpha of Odyssey.
On the 30th March 2021 Frontier revealed two more weapons featured in Odyssey, the Takada Assault Rifle and Laser Pistol.

At 4:11pm on the 26th March Frontier announced the specifications for the PC Alpha of Odyssey, along with some notes…
“Greetings Commanders,
With the Odyssey Alpha almost upon us we wanted to take the opportunity to share with you our minimum and recommended specifications for the Alpha phase of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey.
Please note that as this is an Alpha phase, a large amount of optimisation work for the final release is yet to be completed. As with all pre-released content, please be aware that you may encounter bugs and inconsistent performance as part of your experience. Community feedback is a vital part of the Alpha process and we would encourage everyone to share their experience to help shape Odyssey into the best experience for launch.
