Frontier have announced that Update 12 will be released on the 7th June 2022. This is a slight delay as previously it was ‘by the end of May’. This has been put down to the UK Bank Holiday.

Odyssey – Update #12
On the 19th May 2022 Frontier announced details of Updatre #12 which is scheduled to arrive before the end of the month of May. They also included an interview with game designer Tom Kewell where he speaks about some of the missions and technical aspects of the game.
- Bug Fixes & Optimisation (roughly 100-200 fixes)
- New Mission variant of the Raid/Protect mission tasking players to defend a cargo of valuable materials belonging to criminal organisations from waves of authority ships and troops (Omnipol). The threat level of the settlement will determine the level of resistance faced from the authorities with new Vulture based Omnipol dropships making an appearance.
- The InSight menu wheel will now be available whilst sat down
- Interaction with bartender whilst seating giving access to material trading screens
- Tablet visible when taking a seat at Fleet Carrier command chair will now be operable, giving access to the FC management screen.
- Black Market goods will be given a price increase enabling players to make more money when selling them.
- Players will now be able to recall ships to detention centres should a player end up sent there. This will avoid players having to use Apex.
